The
Emerald Spirit Award
Sober St. Patrick's Day has a rich history of celebrating Irish culture and promoting sobriety in a festive, inclusive environment. Since 2012, the organization has proudly awarded the Emerald Spirit Award to professionals dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by addiction.
Beginning in 2025 Sober St. Patrick's Day is embarking on an exciting new eligibility criteria for recipients of the Emerald Spirit Award. Moving forward, the award will recognize individuals who have made a significant positive impact on Irish cultural heritage more broadly.
This evolution reflects our commitment to honoring not only those who support family recovery from addiction but also individuals who contribute to the preservation, enrichment, and celebration of Irish culture worldwide. The Emerald Spirit Award will continue to be a symbol of excellence, acknowledging remarkable achievements and inspiring others to embrace and cherish Irish traditions in all their forms.
